Most Sucessful Fundraising & Marketing Event for AAWO
Mother’s Day was celebrated at Astoria World Manor, Queens, by 250 members and a slew of Albanian artists from the community. Linda Foundos from New York, NY was awarded the annual “Mother of the Year” award and Jane Christos from Boston, MA was presented with “Woman of the Year” award. For the first time, AAWO presented three Future Promise Awards to post-graduate students – thus, welcoming a new generation of young ambitious women who we hope will inspire other generations to come. We plan to work closely with them, by supporting them in any way feasible in what seems a promising bright career for each one of this year’s recipients.
